A conservancy worker in Chennai who found a gold chain while on duty and handed it over to the police, came in for praise on Thursday. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, who is on an official visit to the United Kingdom, took to the social media to commend the conservancy worker, Clara.
“My regards and congratulations to sister Clara, whose deed has yet again shown that simple people have always been honest,” Mr. Stalin said in a social media post.
Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin invited Ms. Clara and her family members to his camp office and rewarded her. Her husband Ramachandran, daughters R. Soosaimary, R. Swathi and R. Nikithasri accompanied her.
