Stephen Curry sat down with CNBC Sports' Alex Sherman for a tell-all interview and reflected on how he plans to lead his life post-retirement. He hinted at the possibility of owning an NBA franchise, following in the path traveled earlier by NBA legend Michael Jordan.

Curry is under the Golden State Warriors’ control till the 2027 campaign and has ample time on hand to chalk the roadmap after retirement.

Talking about the NBA legend’s achievements as a franchise’s stakeholder, Curry said:“He might be the only one in our generation who has sat in that seat and done it that way.”Speaking further on the topic, he said, “Obviously, as an active player, you can't participate in that level until you're done. So you'll see me in the seat somewhere down the road.”
