‘Strictly Come Dancing’ cast line-up: Delta Goodrem the third celeb confirmed to join the show

‘Strictly Come Dancing’ announces Delta Goodrem as new contestant

Eurovision performer Delta Goodrem, known as a pop icon in Australia, has been announced as the third official contestant and celebrity to join ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ for this year’s show. The announcement was made on the show’s official social media page on June 12, confirming that she will compete for the Glitterball Trophy.The announcement was shared along with the caption: “The Strictly Come Dancing class of 2026 is growing. She’s performed on the world’s biggest stages and the #Strictly ballroom is next. It’s Delta Goodrem!!”Alongside Delta, actress Lacey Turner, and TV personality Dani Dyer have also been confirmed for the show’s roster this year, with more names on the way. Dyer, known for ‘Vendetta’ and ‘Doghouse’, was confirmed for last year’s season but had to drop out due to an injury.

In a BBC report about her joining, Goodrem shared how excited she is to join the beloved show on its 24th season. She cited, “I've been incredibly honoured to perform on many different stages throughout my career - from TV, theatre, film sets, to touring my own shows around the world, there is, however, one stage I've never stepped onto and that is the ballroom floor! I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining Strictly and can't wait to get started!”
