School students lead patent registration and the publication of 136 books in a year.
In a year marked by innovation and skill-building, students of The Sunbeam School, Baillia, have made remarkable strides — from securing a patent registration for a student-led project to publishing 136 books under the school’s Bribooks initiative. The achievements are part of the school’s push towards integrating vocational education and real-world exposure into its curriculum. For Class 11 students, an offline internship programme offers seven days of hands-on industry experience, while annual career fairs and one-to-one counselling sessions from Class 10 onwards guide learners towards informed career choices. The emphasis on future readiness extends to faculty development as well.
Teachers have undergone specialised training and collaborative exchanges through platforms such as CENTA, Microsoft Innovative Educator, IPN, Wakelet and AFS, which the school says have enabled educators to adopt global best practices in teaching.School officials believe that combining academic rigour with creative, technical and vocational pursuits ensures that students graduate with not only strong subject knowledge but also entrepreneurial thinking, communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
