Students injured in accident

Eleven students were injured after a KSRTC bus rammed into a stationary school bus near Attingal, on Tuesday.

The accident occurred around 9 a.m. near the Alamcode traffic signal. The school bus, belonging to the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Attingal, was en route to the school with 30 students onboard, when it was hit from behind by the KSRTC bus travelling in the same direction.

The injured students were rushed to a private hospital nearby. None of the injuries were serious, the police said. The Attingal police have registered a case.
