Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that the government is investing in the education sector in ways unimaginable before, in order to achieve its dream of a $ 3 trillion dollar economy.

Mr. Vikramarka, who inaugurated the Motilal Oswal Executive Centre at the Indian School of Business (ISB) on Friday, appealed to ISB students to contribute to the ‘TelanganaRising’ concept for development.

Chairman of Motilal Oswal Foundation Motilal Oswal, members of the ISB Executive Board and Dean Madan Pillutla were present.

To provide world-class education free of cost to students, the government is launching Young India Integrated Residential Schools. Each school is being built on 25 acres with an investment of ₹200 crore, and simultaneously, 104 schools have already been initiated.

He added that the government is designing and implementing curriculum at the Skill University to ensure students secure jobs immediately after graduation. The syllabus is designed in consultation with industry leaders and Anand Mahindra has been appointed Chairman of the Skill University.

He thanked the Motilal Oswal Foundation for opening a door of learning, noting that while governments build roads, visionary philanthropy builds gateways of knowledge.

Praising the ISB, he said that the Telangana government sees ISB not just as an academic institution, but as a partner. From training health officials, to research on crafts, elections, or Metro rail, ISB has shown how research can shape policy. Its Centre for Analytical Finance is collaborating with the State to shape the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document.
