Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe surprised fans on Friday when they shared that they have ended their relationship after nearly 10 years together. The news came through a joint social media post, and it quickly raised one big question, what happens to their podcast, A Touch More? Soon after, they answered that too. In a short, emotional episode of their podcast, both Bird and Rapinoe said they will slowly close the show.
They explained this was a joint decision and not something they rushed into. They also made it clear there is no bad blood between them. Instead, they said their lives are changing, and the podcast will change with it. They shared that only a few episodes are left. After that, the show will come to an end.

Bird will continue working on her separate show, Bird’s Eye View, which is set for another season.Their relationship started back in 2016 when they met at a photoshoot during the Rio Olympics. They went public in 2017 and became one of the most well-known couples in sports. In 2020, they got engaged, but they never got married. Both had huge careers.
Sue Bird won five Olympic gold medals in basketball. Megan Rapinoe won one Olympic gold and also helped the US win two FIFA Women’s World Cups.They also spoke openly about personal topics over the years. In an interview with The Seattle Times, Bird once shared how Rapinoe helped her see the importance of being open about her identity. That honesty became a big part of how fans connected with them. Now, even as they go their separate ways, they are choosing to end things with respect, both in their personal life and in their work together.
