Actor Suresh Gopi took to Instagram to share the news of the film’s re-release, posting a vintage-styled poster of Summer in Bethlehem and writing, “Memories refreshed, emotions redefined! A timeless classic celebrated by generations! Here’s the first look poster of the 4K remastered version of Summer in Bethlehem Hitting theatres real soon... Stay tuned for more updates!”

The 1998 classic features an ensemble cast including Suresh Gopi, Jayaram, and Manju Warrier in lead roles, with a special cameo by Mohanlal that remains one of his most-loved appearances.Vidyasagar’s music which is paired with Gireesh Puthenchery’s lyrics, remains one of the movie’s highlights and those songs still live in our hearts. Meanwhile, actor Dileep’s Kalyanaraman is also set for a 4K re-release. Announcing it on Instagram with the caption, “Coming soon,” Dileep revealed that the remastered version will feature upgraded visuals and sound. The re-release is slated for January 2026.
