Sunny Deol will next feature in the project titled 'Gabru', which will release on May 8, 2026. Next, he has 'Ikka', set to arrive on Netflix in June. As per the reports, the actor has completed shooting for his other movie titled 'Soorya', and the makers are aiming for a June or July release. Aamir Khan-backed 'Lahore 1947' is slated to hit cinemas on August 13, 2026. And at the end is Nitesh Tiwari's epic, 'Ramayana', which will be out in theaters in November, during Diwali. A source told Mid-Day, "It is a golden year for Sunny Deol with five confirmed releases lined up." The insider stated that makers might reschedule the dates of the film, considering five releases in a year. The person shared that 'Gabru' will also feature a special appearance by Salman Khan. Reportedly, "Sunny plays a middle-aged family man who wants to live the rest of his life meaningfully through his service to humanity.

"Deepak Mukut, the producer of 'Soorya' told the website, "The film is complete. Now it’s in the post-production phase. Once that gets done, we will finalize the release date. We are looking for a good date in the month of June or July, as we want to showcase it well."
