Odisha Governor Haribabu Inaugurates Yoga Event at Konark

Visakhapatnam: The Visakhapatnam-based AUM Free Yoga Organisation organised a program of 108 rounds of collective Surya Namaskars at the historic Konark Sun Temple in Odisha on Sunday.The event was inaugurated by Odisha governor Dr Kambhampati Haribabu as the chief guest. Yoga Guru Dr. Chilaka Venkata Ramesh said that organising a collective Surya Namaskar program in the sacred premises of the Konark Sun Temple was a blessing earned through the merits of previous births. On behalf of the yoga team, he expressed special gratitude to Governor Haribabu for providing the opportunity to conduct such a prestigious event.Haribabu, said that the collective Surya Namaskar program performed by yoga practitioners during the early morning hours at the sacred abode of the radiant Sun God infused everyone with renewed energy and positivity. He added that, along with practicing Surya Namaskars, it is also the foremost duty of every citizen to utilize solar energy. He suggested various measures to reduce fuel consumption and urged everyone to adopt and promote the use of solar power.
