Surya Sai Praveenchand takes charge as the JMD of AP-Transco 

G. Surya Sai Praveenchand, a 2019-batch IAS officer, assumed charge as Joint Managing Director of AP-Transco at Vidyut Soudha here on Monday.

He was recently transferred from the post of Additional Commissioner of the A.P. Capital Region Development Authority. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Praveenchand said he would strive to contribute to the continued growth and efficiency of AP-Transco in line with the government’s objective of ensuring round-the-clock supply of quality power.

He said AP-Transco has been adopting several best practices to strengthen the transmission network, improve operational efficiency, and maintain high standards of reliability. He reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the organisation’s operational framework in alignment with the broader goals of the Energy Department.

AP-Transco Directors A.K.V. Bhaskar, J.V. Rao, and N.V. Ramana Murthy, Additional Secretary P. Roja, and other senior officers were present.
