Suryapet teacher selected for National Teachers’ Awards 2025 

Maram Pavithra, a teacher at the Zilla Parishad High School, Penpahad mandal in Suryapet district, was selected for the National Teachers’ Awards 2025.

Of the total 45 teachers selected from across the country, including five from PM SHRI schools, Ms. Pavithra’s was the only selection from Telangana.

The School Education Department, congratulating her on the achievement, said her selection was from the final six nominations from the State.

Ms. Pavithra’s award carries a certificate of merit, a cash award of ₹50,000 and a silver medal. She will be felicitated by President Droupadi Murmu as part of the Teachers’ Day celebrations in Delhi on September 5.
