The convoy of West Bengal Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari was allegedly attacked and vandalised in Coochbehar on Tuesday, the BJP alleged.

The attack took place when Adhikari was en route to submit a deputation to the Coochbehar Superintendent of Police office, where he planned to raise concerns about alleged harassment of BJP workers in the district.

Visuals from the spot showed Adhikari's convoy navigating through a large-scale protest by Trinamool Congress (TMC), where party workers were seen waving black flags and shouting slogans. At least two vehicles in the convoy — including a police vehicle and the pilot car — were visibly damaged, with shattered windshields.
