Recently Kolkata witnessed an inspiring evening with the third edition of Swapno Bandhan 2025, a campaign dedicated to empowering girls in the Sundarbans through education. The event blended art, dialogue, and music to highlight how education can safeguard against trafficking, child marriage, abuse, and exploitation.The evening opened with a stirring skit by students from the Sundarbans, whose heartfelt performance reflected both the struggles and resilience of young girls. This paved the way for a thought-provoking conversation with actor Anirban Chakrabarti, who reflected on his journey from teacher to actor to highlight the transformative power of education.
The cultural highlight came with a soul-stirring recital by singer Durnibar Saha, joined by Mohor and Saurav Palodhi.
Their performance transcended entertainment, serving as an appeal for solidarity with children striving for a brighter future.Reflecting on the initiative, Anirban said, “Education is the biggest gift we can give our children.
