Swaran Ghar's Ajay Singh Chaudhary pens an emotional note for late Captain Sumeet Sabbarwal who lost his life in Ahmedabad Plane Crash; writes 'You will never be forgotten'

On Thursday June 12, an Air India plane carrying 242 passengers crashed shortly after taking off from Ahmedabad International Airport. According to reports, at least 120 people died as a result of the unfortunate incident.

Swaran Ghar actor Ajay Singh Chaudhary took to his Instagram handle sharing a heartfelt note revealing that the late Captain Sumeet Sabbarwal, he wrote, "It's hard to describe the heaviness I've felt. Captain Sumeet Sabbarwal, who lived in the same building as I do is no longer with us.I had met him so many times, always full of life, calm, kind and grounded. His sudden passing in the Ahmedabad crash feels deeply personal.

" He further shared, "Today, I went to his house and met his 88-year-old father. The silence in that room said more than words ever could. No parent should have to endure such pain and yet, he sat there with quiet dignity holding a kind of strength that breaks your heart. Sumeet was not just a brilliant pilot. He was one of us. And now, his absence echoes through every corner of our hearts. Rest in peace, Captain. You will never be forgotten.

" For the unversed, The plane, on its way to London, crashed in a residential area five minutes after taking off from Gujarat's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Airport. Images of the jet accident have circulated on social media, depicting columns of dark smoke in the skies. Twelve of the 242 passengers were cabin personnel. Former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani is also suspected of having boarded the Air India trip to London.
