Swiggy has launched DeskEats 2.0, an enhanced version of its workplace dining service featuring over 200,000 desk-friendly food items designed for India's working professionals.
The platform now serves 5,000 corporate co-living spaces and 7,000 tech parks across 30 cities.As part of the launch, Swiggy has partnered with Starbucks to introduce "Power Lunch" meals starting at Rs 199, available until November 8, 2025. The limited-period offer includes 29 items such as Paneer Tikka Sandwich, Tofu & Spinach Croissant Sandwich, and Tall Cold Coffee across 252 Starbucks outlets in 25 cities.The updated platform focuses on non-messy, convenient packaging that allows professionals to eat comfortably at their desks.
Users can access the service by typing 'DESK' in the Swiggy search bar, which displays curated collections including Value Combos, Stress Munchies, Quick Desserts, One-handed Grabbies, and Healthy Nibbles."Working professionals continue to juggle between multiple meetings and deadlines during the course of their day," said Deepak Maloo, Vice President of Food Strategy at Swiggy. "With DeskEats 2.0, we have rolled out a curated set of offerings that cater to more use cases and offer additional choices of food that can be consumed at your desk."
The service was developed through collaboration with restaurant partners based on consumer insights about popular but messy dishes. Swiggy has worked to make desk-friendly dining more seamless and practical through improved packaging and cutlery solutions.DeskEats 2.0 builds on Swiggy's Corporate Rewards program, which has expanded to 27,000 companies with 250,000 employee enrollments in six months. The program offers benefits across Swiggy's Food Delivery, Instamart, and Dineout services.
