The T.N. Rising Investment Conclave in Hosur, led by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, on Thursday (September 11, 2025), witnessed the signing of investment deals worth ₹26,000 crore across a curated mix of large industries and MSMEs.
Set against the backdrop of the Chief Minister’s return from his T.N. Rising Europe tour, Mr. Stalin said the investments secured here surpassed the ₹15,516 crore raised from abroad. “We are beating our own record just three days after returning,” he quipped.
The conclave signalled the next phase of growth for Hosur, which stands on the cusp of innovation and talent, attracting youth, especially women, who are arriving in droves with drive and self-confidence.
“When we came to power four years ago, we set a goal of achieving a USD 1 trillion economy. Industrial growth is the surest way to reach this target, which is why we have maintained a continuous focus on investments. As of now, the Tamil Nadu growth story stands at 11.19% economic growth, and is poised to grow further,” Mr. Stalin said.
77% MoUs realised
Speaking about his government’s focus, the Chief Minister said, “The MoUs must come to fruition. I instruct officials to prioritise the enforcement of the MoUs signed at the conventions and to expedite the process.”
Over 77% of MoUs inked since the government came to power in 2021 have come to fruition, witnessing implementation.
“A parallel goal is to build a strong women workforce, create jobs for women, and elevate their economic conditions. In the last four years, Krishnagiri has seen tremendous industrial growth,” he said. “With a predominantly women workforce, Hosur is being cultivated as a site for women aspiring to join the workforce, challenging themselves with self-confidence.”
According to him, Hosur is at a unique point in the growth map of the country, and as well as globally. The announcement of an airport in Hosur is bound to push the region into a different growth trajectory, challenging other States.
Listing the steady infusion of industrial infrastructure in Hosur, beginning with the establishment of SIPCOTs, Mr. Stalin traced its transformation from a modest industrial town to a thriving investment destination. A Future Mobility Park was inaugurated in Shoolagiri with an investment of ₹210 crore. So far, 22 firms have been allocated land, committing ₹2,728 crore in investments and promising 6,682 jobs.
The city’s growth story includes the proposed Hosur Knowledge Corridor on Hosur-Bagalur road and a 5 lakh sq. ft. Tidel Park.
Witnessing the exchange of MoUs in the presence of Minister for Industries T.R.B. Rajaa, the Chief Minister credited him for the “target-bound timelines and speed of action” that made these conclaves a success.
Addressing the investors for reposing faith in and participating in Tamil Nadu’s growth story, Mr. Stalin said, “Stalin means ‘Man of Steel.’ I will personally mentor this growth journey, because you have allied with Tamil Nadu to move forward together.”
