Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Munmun Datta reacts to the iconic and hilarious Jethalal and Babitaji scenes; says 'BTS kabhi release kiya na show ka, it’s crazy'

Munmun Dutta, who plays Babitaji in the long-running sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, recently spoke about the show’s most loved and hilarious moments featuring Babitaji and Jethalal.

Recently, during a podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia, the actress reacted to the iconic scenes that continue to entertain audiences even today. She also revealed that the behind-the-scenes moments are very crazy. Speaking about the hilarious memes and behind the scenes, the actress shared, "Bahot saari cheezein main bhul gayi hoon, it’s been 17 years. Kitne saare scenes kiye hain humne. Arre bahot, funny hote hain.

Main toh kitni baar bolti hoon ke BTS kabhi release kiya na show ka, it’s crazy. Itne moments humare hote hain. Samjh lo hum koi scene karne waale hain, uske pehle we do scene reading. When we are doing a scene reading together usmein hum kuch apna he daal ke usko alag he tangent par leke chale jaate hain.

"(Over the years, I’ve forgotten so many things, it’s been 17 years and we’ve done countless scenes. I often say that if the show ever releases its behind-the-scenes footage, it would be crazy because there are so many fun moments.

Even before shooting a scene, we do a scene reading, and during that time we add our own touches and sometimes take the scene in a completely different direction.)

Reacting to one of the show’s popular storylines, the ‘Bhootni’ track, Munmun shared that the cast and crew shot for several days and also had night shoots. "The Bhootni track has been one of the most popular ones. This sequence became very popular. I remember we shot for a long time and even did night shoots. It was a lot of fun. Many people talk about negative energy or ghosts, but I’ve never felt anything like that. I can easily walk alone in the dark without fear.
