Tamil Nadu delegation visits KFON offices exploring possibility of replicating the model

A delegation from the Tamil Nadu FibreNet Corporation (TANFINET) visited Kerala Fibre Optic Network (KFON) offices on Monday (September 1, 2025) to study its successful implementation and assess the feasibility of rolling out a project similar to the Kerala government’s flagship Internet service in Tamil Nadu. During the visit, discussions were held between the TANFINET delegation and senior KFON officials.

Santhosh Babu, managing director of KFON, Murali Kishore R.S, chief technology officer, Bilstin D. Geo, chief sales officer and Madhu M. Nair, deputy general manager represented KFON in the discussions. The TANFINET team was led by CTO Ajith Paul and head of marketing Bala Subramanian. The delegation engaged in detailed interactions with the KFON team to understand the successful implementation and operational framework.
