facility has been inaugurated on World EV Day near Terminal 2 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, within the premises of The Leela Mumbai Hotel.The co-branded hub is designed to cater to a wide range of EV users: from private car owners to ride-hailing fleets and logistics operators. Its location also makes it convenient for frequent flyers, hotel guests, and professionals moving through the busy Andheri–BKC–South Mumbai corridor, the company said.

The facility is equipped with eight fast DC chargers of up to 120 kW, offering 16 bays that can charge as many vehicles at once. The facility will be open round the clock and will be powered entirely by renewable energy, thus aiming at faster turnaround times and aims to reduce waiting for EV users during peak hours.

The MegaCharger hub is open to all EVs, though Tata EV owners get added perks like priority access and discounts of up to 25%. Charging can be accessed through the

app, which already has over four lakh users, and will soon be integrated with the iRA.ev connected car app.Tata Power already operates over 1,000 charging points in Mumbai and more than 5,500 across India, and plans to scale up to 10,000 public chargers and 7.5 lakh home chargers by 2030.
