TCS appointed Deloitte and law firm Trilegal as independent counsel to assist in its internal investigation into the Nashik BPO unit case. The inquiry is being led internally by Aarthi Subramanian, President and COO of TCS. A dedicated Oversight Committee, chaired by independent director Keki Mistry, has also been set up to review the findings of the investigation and recommend further action if required. According to the company, the findings of the internal probe will be presented to this committee once completed.

The case came to light in March after a woman employee at the Nashik BPO unit filed a complaint alleging that a colleague had engaged in a relationship with her under the promise of marriage. Following the initial complaint, police registered multiple FIRs involving allegations of mental and sexual harassment dating between 2022 and 2026, as well as claims of managerial inaction and other related charges.

The police investigation is ongoing and TCS said it continues to extend full cooperation to authorities.
