Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders on Monday celebrated N. Chandrababu Naidu’s completion of 30 years since he first took charge as Chief Minister on September 1, 1995, in a programme organised at the party’s central office near Mangalagiri in Guntur district.
Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath described Naidu as a warrior and reformer whose grit and determination to develop Andhra Pradesh (A.P.) yielded impressive results. The State would have been far ahead had the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) not ruined it through its dictatorial rule.
Former Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao praised Mr. Chandrababu Naidu’s vision and said there were few leaders who struck a fine balance between welfare and development.
The other leaders who hailed Mr. Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership included Varla Ramaiah, P. Ashok Babu, Nettem Raghuram and Buchi Ramprasad. Earlier, the leaders cut a cake to celebrate Mr. Naidu 30-year milestone and wished him success in his future endeavours.
