TDP slams Congress over women’s quota, seat expansion Bills

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) State president Palla Srinivasa Rao on Saturday criticised the Indian National Congress and its allies for obstructing what he described as transformative reforms aimed at advancing gender justice and safeguarding the federal balance.

Mr. Srinivasa Rao termed the Opposition’s resistance to the Women’s Reservation and Reorganisation Amendment Bills a “historic betrayal of women” and “a deliberate attempt to weaken the political voice of southern India.”
