A software engineer, who ordered a high-end mobile phone online, was shocked to find pieces of a tile in the parcel.
Premanand, a resident of K. S. Layout, ordered a smartphone worth ₹1.85 lakh on an e-commerce platform, and the product was delivered on the scheduled date.
He recorded a video while unboxing the package and was shocked to find pieces of a tile inside the box instead of the premium smartphone he had paid for in full.
When he tried to contact the delivery executive, there was no response. Left with no option, Premanand filed a complaint through the National Cybercrime Reporting (NCRP) Portal and later lodged a complaint with the Kumaraswamy Layout Police Station.
The police have launched a probe.
