Telangana Weather August 29 | Heavy rain alert for six districts

Six districts in north and northeast of Telangana were forecast to receive heavy rain on Friday (August 29, 2025). Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) are very likely at isolated places in all districts. 

Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu and Mahbubabad are the districts predicted to receive heavy rain, as per India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) bulletin issued on Thursday afternoon. Hyderabad and its surrounding areas were forecast to receive light to moderate rain or thundershowers with gusty winds over the next 48 hours.
