Tesla CEO Elon Musk has publicly shared the results of his recent drug test. Musk took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share full lab report. Elon Musk shared the drug test report with one-word caption: ‘lol’. This disclosure comes after an online report claimed that Musk had been taking a "cocktail of substances," including ketamine, ecstasy, and cocaine, with some reports even suggesting he took large amounts of ketamine while advising President Donald Trump as head of the "Department of Government Efficiency" (DOGE).
What Elon Musk’s drug test report shows
Musk posted an image of the drug test report on his X account with a one word caption ‘lol’. The drug test report shows that the test has been conducted by United States Drug Testing and dated June 17, 2025. The report confirmed negative results for a wide range of substances, including ketamine, cocaine, amphetamines, opioids, and cannabis. The report also mentions that the urine sample was collected on June 11 and was analysed at Fastest Labs of South Austin, with all validity checks—such as pH, creatinine, and nitrite levels—falling within normal ranges.
Reason behind the Elon Musk’s drug test
Elon Musk’s post comes as a direct response to a recent new report by New York Times, which alleged that he had used a “cocktail” of substances—including ketamine, ecstasy, and psychedelic mushrooms—while serving in a government advisory role. The report by New York Times claimed that the tech billionaire travels with a daily pill box containing around 20 different medications. Responding to the news, Musk has denied the allegations, stating “I am NOT taking drugs! The New York Times was lying their ass off.” In an X (formerly Twitter) post, Musk further states that he has ‘tried *prescription* ketamine a few years ago” and revealed about the same on X then.
