Elon Musk: Overpopulation is the most nihilistic lie
This is not the first time, Elon Musk has voiced his concerts against the rising population decline across the world. Musk, who has 14 children with five different women, has often said that having a big family is his way of contributing to the solution. In a latest post, he said that “Overpopulation is the most nihilistic lie ever told”.
He has advocated for policies that encourage higher birth rates, particularly in aging societies like those in Europe and Japan, where low fertility is already impacting economic growth. In the year 2022, he called population collapse a bigger danger than global warming. "Population collapse due to low birth rates is a much bigger risk to civilization than global warming," he wrote in a series of tweets. "Mark these words," he wrote in another. Also went on to add that this in no way means that global warming is not a threat. "(And I do think global warming is a major risk)," he added. In June this year, he wrote that "People who have kids do need to have 3 kids to make up for those who have 0 or 1 kid or population will collapse”.
