On The 50, Krishna Shroff recently opened up about her love story in the most unexpected way. She revealed that her Boyfriend was an Afghan and an MMA fighter by profession, but that was only part of the story.
They didn't meet with flair or fanfare; they met as the result of a fight (literally). He had to fight in Mumbai, and she saw him for the first time there. They both felt no immediate desire to be together or any intent to form a relationship at all. “Neither of us thought we were going to be together,” explained Krishna. “But we connected on some kind of frequency.”
What followed felt almost serendipitous. They crossed paths again in Goa, and this time, the connection felt deeper.
It wasn’t dramatic or loud, just effortless. But it was at the airport, while saying goodbye, that the emotions truly surfaced. Krishna recalled how both of them unexpectedly broke down in tears, a quiet realization of how much they meant to each other.Calling it a “mad journey,” she hinted that their relationship was filled with intense experiences and she said that couldn’t be revealed on camera. It was raw, personal, and clearly transformative.
Sometimes, love doesn’t arrive with a plan, it simply happens when two frequencies align. In one of the previous episodes, Krishna had spoken about her boyfriend with Natalia. She had shared back then, "He is from Afghanistan and is a professional MMA fighter. I like strong men. He had challenged me. I like alpha men."She further spoke about how they met and revealed, "We have been together since 2020. We started talking in November 2020 and then we met in May 2021. We had literally spoken for 8 months before meeting each other. He was in Afghanistan, he was actually in Bahrain. We met on Instagram but I already knew who he was when he messaged me because I had seen him in fights. He shifted for me to Mumbai. After 8 months of talking one day he said, "I want to come and see you, so I said okay let's meet.
