The Hindu distributes I-Day special issue at school

The Hindu special issue of Independence Day was distributed among the senior students of Bharathamatha CMI Public School here on Thursday. The State Bank of India (SBI) sponsored the special issue for the students.

Vinodh Kumar M., SBI chief manager for deposits and customer value added services (DVAS), inaugurated the distribution. School principal Fr. Lintesh Antony presided over the function.

The students held engaging discussions based on the special newspaper issue focusing on India’s Independence Day. According to SBI officials, the initiative aimed to foster a deeper understanding of the country’s history, its struggle for freedom and the significance of national celebrations like Independence Day.
