I never let my mind stay idle — I kept learning new things, knowing that one day, an opportunity would come,” he adds. That opportunity arrived with Krishna Leela. “When the producers offered me the lead role, I took a week to think it over. I made a few changes to the story, and when I narrated it back, they were surprised by my clarity. That’s when I decided to direct it myself — I believed in my vision.”
