The before-and-after picture shared by ESPN PR’s X account is sure to baffle everyone! It’s a comparison of the same sportscaster, Rich Eisen, from 20 years ago and now! There’s hardly any similarity, yet his humble smile remains! ESPN PR captioned it: “Tonight, for the first time in over 20 years, @richeisen will anchor @SportsCenter 📺 11p ET | ESPN More: http://bit.ly/4mlBLKH.

” One fan immediately commented, “legendary reunion is happening tonight.” Another said, “Nostalgia always hits.”

Rich Eisen returns to host SportsCenter after 20 years

After the Monday Night Football preseason game scheduled between the Washington Commanders and the Cincinnati Bengals on August 18, viewers will welcome a familiar face on ESPN’s flagship program, SportsCenter. It’s a face from two decades ago: Rich Eisen, the anchor who attained national acclaim at ESPN from 1996 to 2003.

The veteran sports broadcaster’s stint with ESPN ended in 2003, after which he joined the NFL Network.

Bill Hofheimer, the Vice President of Communications for ESPN wrote on his X: “Tonight's late SportsCenter (after the #MNF preseason game) is literally 20+ years in the making: http://bit.ly/4mlBLKH. Very excited for @richeisen, who returns to the anchor chair w/ some very cool things planned. 📺 11p ET | ESPN.”

Veteran sportscaster receives two good news from ESPN

ESPN NFL Analyst Mila Kimes will join Eisen on the set live from Los Angeles. Popular personalities like Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Lisa Salters, and Laura Rutledge will be on call. Monday Night Countdown will be hosted by Scott Van Pelt, Jason Kelce, Ryan Clark, Adam Schefter, and Marcus Spears. Van Pelt and Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn will be interviewed in the pregame coverage. The live hosting news comes after Eisen received good news for his own show, The Rich Eisen Show.
