Season 3,’ the
romantic drama series
that has everyone on the edge of their seat, has taken a surprising turn after the unprecedented trailer was recently released ahead of the 9th episode. While the series is an adaptation of
Jenny Han
’s trilogy, the maker shifted gears as the beach sequences will now see the lanes of Paris.
Belly Conklin and the tumultuous journey
Episode 9
will see Isabel ‘Belly’ Conklin in the pivotal role, following the sorrowful sequence of confrontations and wedding woes. The previous episode marked the end of Jeremiah and Belly, in addition to the emotional cliffhanger of her seeing Conrad at the airport. While many questions were left unanswered, the trailer added another twist in the minds, as the scenes were not part of the trilogy. The avid readers, who are obsessed with the Cousins universe, have been championing ‘Bonrad.’ However, all fans would be sailing the same ship as the unknown plot twists take over, with a dash of Taylor Swift’s music catalog.

In the one-and-a-half-minute trailer, Belly takes over the narration with her life in Paris, meeting new friends while reminiscing about the bittersweet old memories. The clip opens with the newly not-so-married girl removing her engagement ring on the flight, as the voiceover takes over, “I had these pillars in my life. Cousins. My family. Taylor. Jer. They made me feel like I was safe — like I was on solid ground. Now they’re gone. And it’s just me,” she said.
