‘The Uprising’, an upcoming project which also stars ‘After The Hunt’ star Andrew Garfield, has just confirmed a lot more big names who will be joining the official cast line up. The story follows a rebellion in the making and has already begun its production process, leaving fans anticipating further updates.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, new cast members of the upcoming film ‘The Uprising’ have officially been confirmed. Jamie Bell from ‘All Of Us Strangers’, Jonny Lee Miller from ‘Elementary’,
Katherine Waterston
from ‘Alien: Covenant’,
Cosmo Jarvis
from ‘Warfare’,
Thomasin McKenzie
from ‘Jojo Rabbit’, and Woody Norman from ‘C’mon C’mon’, have all officially boarded the final cast lineup for the film. The project is being led by famous actor Andrew Garfield, who was last seen on the big screen in ‘After The Hunt.’
About ‘The Uprising’
The premise of the film is set all the way back during the English Peasants' Revolt in 1381. It shows the plight of one of the suffering farmers who takes the lead when things start working against them under the rule of King Richard II. As the war bubbles up right around the corner, the farmer, who is being played by Andrew Garfield, is collecting men to build his rebellion and turn it successful. The plight of the working class in England during the 1300s, as well as the fight for justice and survival against the ruling tyranny and its rulers is heavily explored in this historical drama.
The film was previously titled ‘The Rage’, however Oscar nominee
Paul Greengrass
, who is heading the project renamed the project. His last film was the California based thriller drama project, ‘The Lost Bus.’ No other information about the upcoming film has been shared, hwoeever the premise of the film as well as the lead cast members all have started to build up anticipation amongst the masses.
