'There are so many people...': Malaika Arora reveals her favorite person amid Arbaaz Khan welcoming first child with wife Sshura

Amid news of Arbaaz Khan welcoming his first child with his wife Sshura Khan, Malaika Arora recently shared who means the most to her. At a recent event, she revealed the name of her favourite person in the world.

At the Hyderabad event, a fan asked Malaika about her favourite industry icon. She said she couldn’t choose just one, as she draws inspiration from many people.

She said, "There are so many people I've looked up to in my years. I mean, I've grown up on Malayalam films. My mom is a Malayali... So, I've grown up on a staple of Malayalam films. So, I remember, I used to really idolise them. But if you ask me, my most favorite person in the world is my son.

On her divorce with Arbaaz

Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla Malaika spilled the beans about her divorce with Arbaaz. “Of course I would have loved for my marriage to be forever. But that didn’t happen. That doesn’t mean I have lost faith in love, or that I made a huge mistake."Elaborating further, she added, "People forget that it’s okay to put yourself first. I needed to be happy before I could make anyone else happy. I wasn’t happy, and people said, ‘What a selfish decision,’ but I did what felt right. Today, I feel that choice has made me a better person,” Meanwhile, Malaika met Arbaaz on a coffee commercial shoot and quickly connected. They tied the knot in 1998 and had a son, Arhaan, in 2002. After 18 years together, they separated in 2016 and finalized their divorce in 2017.The couple has been co-parenting their son. After the divorce, Malaika was linked to actor Arjun Kapoor, while Arbaaz found love with makeup artist Sshura Khan.
