Veronica Vanij shares her fitness journey. She gained weight for past roles in Non-Stop Dhamal and Ichchha. A new exciting project motivated her to lose 10 kilos.

Actress Veronica Vanij, who was last seen in Non-Stop Dhamal and Ichchha, recently opened up about her fitness transformation and the motivation behind it. “Honestly, I had put on quite a bit of weight for my movie Non-Stop Dhamal, and later for Ichchha, where I played a village girl — the roles actually required me to maintain that look,” she shared.

“After that, I got busy and didn’t really have the motivation to lose weight. But recently, I landed a new project that truly excited me, and that gave me the push I needed. I’ve managed to lose about 10 kilos through consistent workouts, a clean diet, and a more disciplined routine. It feels amazing to be in a fitter, more energetic space now.” Talking about the constant appearance pressure in showbiz, Veronica admitted, “To be honest, there is a certain pressure in this industry to look a particular way, but I’ve learned to take it positively.

For me, it’s more about feeling confident and healthy rather than fitting into an image. Every role demands something different, and I try to adapt without losing my individuality. I think audiences today appreciate authenticity more than perfection, and that’s very liberating.

On the work front, she revealed that her latest project was the key reason behind her transformation. “Right now, my focus is completely on this new project that motivated my transformation — it’s something very different from what I’ve done before. I can’t reveal much yet, but it’s a strong, performance-oriented role,” she said.
