Production house denies speculation
Over the past few days, social media has been buzzing with reports that Prasanth Varma had taken advance payments from multiple production houses following the massive success of 'HanuMan'.
Among the names linked to him, was the banner led by producer DVV Danayya, who is known for bankrolling blockbusters like 'RRR' and 'They Call Him OG'.
However, the production house has now dismissed these claims as entirely "false and baseless." The official statement from the production read, "We would like to clarify that the recent speculation regarding advances taken by director Prasanth Varma from DVV Entertainment / Mr.
DVV Danayya is completely false and baseless. There has been no financial transaction, agreement, or professional association between Director Prasanth Varma and DVV Entertainment.

The makers also requested media outlets and social media platforms to verify information before spreading unconfirmed reports. "We sincerely request all media outlets, digital platforms and social media pages to verify facts before circulating such misinformation," they added.
Prasanth Varma unveils next project 'Mahakali
In other news, the filmmaker Varma announced 'Mahakali', the third film in his mythological superhero cinematic universe known as the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU). This film is directed by Puja Aparna Kolluru, with Prasanth Varma serving as the showrunner and creative supervisor. The lead role of 'Mahakali' is played by Kannada actress Bhoomi Shetty, who is portrayed as a fierce and powerful version of the goddess Kali, dressed in fiery red and gold traditional attire.
