India’s new High Commissioner to Canada, Dinesh Patnaik, has said that the threat from Khalistani groups operating in Canada is a domestic issue for Ottawa to handle, not New Delhi.
In an interview with CTV’s Question Period, Patnaik dismissed claims linking Indian diplomats to criminal activities as “preposterous and absurd," asserting that India respects Canadian law and expects the same in return.
