Three held with narcotics in a pub in Jubilee Hills

In two separate operations, the Telangana EAGLE Force along with city police teams busted a drug party at a popular pub in Jubilee Hills and caught two peddlers at Bollaram attempting to distribute narcotics to customers.

In the first incident, the Telangana EAGLE, along with the Film Nagar Police, raided The Moonshine Project/EXT Pub in Jubilee Hills on the night of October 31. During the raid, three patrons tested positive for drug consumption.

The arrested consumers were identified as Ch Dinesh Kumar, 46, who tested positive for opioids and methamphetamine, Bahadur Rohith Singh, 31, who tested positive for THC, and Banda Revanth Reddy, 25, who also tested positive for THC. The trio was handed over to Film Nagar Police for further action.

In another operation on October 30, the Telangana EAGLE Force in coordination with Bollaram Police apprehended two individuals allegedly involved in peddling drugs. The accused, identified as Shubham Kumar Singh, 27, of Lothukunta, and Rithik Shiva Nandam Kurup, 24, of Bowenpally, were caught at Bollaram check post while trying to deliver narcotics to customers of a supplier named Nandu, a native of Kerala, and resident of Bengaluru.

Police seized 20 grams of MDMA, two grams of cocaine, 100 grams of OG, 12 LSD blots, ₹48,000 in cash, two mobile phones, and a car from their possession. Both accused were described as consumers-turned-peddlers.

Officials said the crackdown was part of an ongoing effort to curb the use and distribution of narcotics at pubs and party venues across the city.
