Three missing girls from North Paravur traced to Kunnamkulam

Three girls who went missing from a pre-metric hostel in North Paravur, Ernakulam, on Monday (June 16, 2025) morning were traced by the police in Kunnamkulam, Thrissur, by afternoon.

The girls had reportedly left the hostel, managed by the North Paravur municipality, to meet their friend in Thrissur. The police said that further investigations were under way to confirm the veracity of their statement. They managed to locate the girls after one of them reportedly attempted to contact her family by phone from near the area where they were eventually traced.

Chairperson of the North Paravur municipality Beena Sasidharan said that the hostel authorities discovered the girls were missing when the inmates were asked to get ready in the morning.
