Three Police Officers Escape Injury After Coal Truck Collision in Bokaro

Bokaro: Three police personnel narrowly escaped an accident after their patrol vehicle was hit from behind by a speeding coal-laden truck near Gurudwara Road under Chas police station limits on Wednesday morning.

The impact caused the patrol vehicle to overturn, leaving the officers with minor injuries.According to police sources, the truck was attempting to overtake another vehicle when the driver lost control and rammed into the patrol car. The truck, carrying coal, was moving at high speed, resulting in severe damage to the police vehicle.Chas police station in-charge Sushma Kumari said the truck has been seized and its driver was taken into custody. She added that preliminary investigations suggest reckless driving as the cause behind the crash. The injured policemen were taken to a nearby hospital and are said to be out of danger.
