Thunderstorm warning for 17 districts today

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm warning in 17 Telangana districts for Sunday (March 15).

According to the IMD’s latest bulletin, thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Medak and Kamareddy districts.

Hyderabad and its surrounding areas will see partly cloudy sky for the next 24 hours. “Hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 38°C and 21°C respectively,” the bulletin said.
