Ticket no. XC 138455 wins ₹20 crore Christmas-New Year Bumper Lottery first prize

The ₹20 crore first prize of the Christmas-New Year bumper lottery of the State Lotteries Department went to number XC 138455. The prize-winning ticket was sold by Sudeek A., an agent in Kottayam district, the department said after the draw held here on Saturday. This year, the Christmas-New Year Bumper Lottery had reported a record sale of 54.08 lakh tickets. Last year, it had stood at 47.65 lakh tickets. In Palakkad district alone, 13.09 lakh tickets were sold. The second prize of ₹1 crore each goes to 20 winners.
