Tiger sighting brings traffic to halt on NH-43 in Umaria

BHOPAL: Traffic on National Highway-43 in Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh came to a standstill on Tuesday morning after a tiger was seen near Ghunghutti High School. The area is close to Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve.The sighting created panic as well as excitement among locals and students, who gathered to watch the animal. Many vehicles stopped on the road as people tried to capture the moment.Forest officials said the tiger returned to the forest shortly after.
