Tim Burton and Monica Bellucci SPLIT; couple announce separation after two years of dating

Hollywood director Tim Burton and Italian actress and model Monica Bellucci are separating, they announced Friday in a statement to AFP.

"It is with much respect and deep care for each other that Monica Bellucci and Tim Burton have decided to part ways," they said in a joint statement.

News of the split comes just weeks after the actress was seen by the director's side when he was honoured with a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. He unveiled the star with Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder, also in attendance. The actors were present at the event, considering their professional history with Burton, stretching back to the 1980s.Tim's romance with Bellucci came nine years after his high-profile separation. The pair was seen out and about, looking rather smitten after enjoying a romantic trip to Paris together.

Bellucci later confirmed the romance in 2023 and even worked with him in last year's comedy horror 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice', a sequel to his 1988 blockbuster 'Beetlejuice'.Couple's worked together Bellucci played the role of Delores, a Frankenstein-like evil creature determined to take revenge on her ex-husband, played by Michael Keaton.Bellucci has two children from her 14-year marriage to French actor and "Irreversible" co-star Vincent Cassel which ended in 2013.

Burton was in a long-term relationship with British actress Helena Bonham Carter. The couple were together for 13 years after meeting on the sets of the 2001 film 'Planet Of The Apes'. The couple famously lived together in adjoining houses in North London. They had two children, Billy and Nell. They announced their split in 2014.
