The Pushkarini (temple tank) at the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala will remain out of bounds for pilgrims from July 19 to August 20.

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has decided to close the sacred tank, located adjacent to the main temple, to facilitate essential repair and renovation works in preparation for the annual Brahmotsavams, which are scheduled to begin on September 24. In view of the closure, the TTD also announced the suspension of the daily Pushkarini Ganga Harati ritual, typically held in the evenings, for the duration of the works.
