On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Global Reach Foundation, Tirupati MLA Arani Srinivasulu lauded the humanitarian services of the NGO to the victims of the recent cyclone in Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam. He praised its founder-chairman Ramesh Nath Lingutla for undertaking the service programmes.

Film lyricist Suddala Ashok Teja, District Collector S. Venkateswar, TTD member Bhanu Prakash Reddy, TUDA chairman C. Divakar Reddy and other dignitaries also participated in the anniversary celebrations in Tirupati on Sunday. They lauded Dr. Ramesh Nath, who left his comfortable life in London and returned to his homeland to do his bit for the people.

Appealing to everyone to help the poor under the P4 (Public, Private, People Partnership) programme, Dr. S. Venkateswar announced that he has adopted five families from Nakkala Colony. He urged the rich to adopt a family or a village here. He said that SST (Srinivasan Services Trust), the social arm of TVS Motor Company, has adopted 60 villages in the district.

“Our district is fortunate to have 131 mega industries. The industrialists were also been requested to do so. They are adopting some of the communities in their surrounding villages. Everyone should help the poor through the P4 programme. There are over 83,000 Bangaru Kutumbalu (golden families) in our district. So far, we have been able to tag only 5,000 people.”
