Toll staff kill deputy manager after reprimand

AGRA: Two workers at the Chhapar toll plaza on Delhi-Dehradun NH assaulted their seniors for pulling them up for reporting late to work, leaving the deputy manager dead, and manager injured.Police said that on Thursday, plaza employees assaulted toll manager Mukesh Chauhan and deputy manager Arvind Pandey. They then abducted Pandey, 30. He was later found dead in Meerut's Jani area. Police arrested three suspects - Pradip Singh, Shubham Chaudhary and Shekhar Kumar - after an encounter Friday night. The two were shot in the legs.
