Patrick Mahomes is the highest-paid NFL player in 2025 when on-field salary and endorsements are combined. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback earns $50 million in salary and bonuses this season.
Off the field, Mahomes makes an estimated $30 million from deals, including investments in the Kansas City Royals, Sporting KC, KC Current, and F1 team Alpine. That brings his total earnings to around $80 million. Other quarterbacks like Josh Allen, Justin Herbert, Dak Prescott, and Tua Tagovailoa follow him in total earnings, according to a new analysis by Sportico.

Most of the top 10 earners in 2025 are quarterbacks.
- Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City Chiefs) – $80 million total ($50M salary/bonuses + $30M endorsements). Endorsements include State Farm, Adidas, and ownership stakes in Kansas City Royals, Sporting KC, KC Current, and F1 team Alpine.
- Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills) – $73 million total, boosted by $15M in endorsements from New Era, Snickers, and Corona.
- Justin Herbert (Los Angeles Chargers) – $71 million total, with $11M from Nike, Verizon, and SoFi deals.
- Dak Prescott (Dallas Cowboys) – Estimated $65+ million, fueled by his contract and sponsorships with Sleep Number and Beats.
- Tua Tagovailoa (Miami Dolphins) – Estimated $60+ million, with steady endorsement growth from Bose and Adidas.
- Travis Kelce (Kansas City Chiefs) – $49.25 million total ($17.25M salary + $32M endorsements). Podcast and Taylor Swift connection make him the NFL’s biggest off-field star.
- Micah Parsons (Dallas Cowboys) – $48.7 million, leading all defensive players.
- T.J. Watt (Pittsburgh Steelers) – $46 million, powered by his record defensive contract and deals with Panini and Gatorade.
- Ja’Marr Chase (Cincinnati Bengals) – $44.7 million, the highest among wide receivers.
- Justin Jefferson (Minnesota Vikings) – $39.4 million, keeping pace with Chase in WR earnings.

Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs tight end, earns the most from endorsements in 2025.
The 33-year-old brings in an estimated $32 million from deals.
His New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce is worth about $100 million over three years. Kelce’s connection with pop star Taylor Swift also boosts his profile and earnings. His $17.25 million on-field salary ranks lower among the top 20 NFL earners. Other non-quarterbacks in the list include Micah Parsons ($48.7 million), T.J. Watt ($46 million), Ja’Marr Chase ($44.7 million), and Justin Jefferson ($39.4 million).
