Talking about the powertrain, the Rumion is powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, NA petrol engine with 103 hp power and 139 nm torque. Gearbox options include a 5-speed manual. This entry-level trim misses out on an automatic gearbox and CNG power. The Toyota Rumion is essentially a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, with a few differences.
The MPV gets a different front grille with a new bumper. The front grille looks similar to the one on the Innova Crysta, and the lower bumper is redesigned with a new fog lamp housing and a chrome strip around the radiator grille. On the side, the MPV remains unchanged, but it gets differently designed dual-tone alloy wheels.
At the rear, there are no changes made to the car except for the replacement of the logo. The MPV gets the same bumper design. Moving on to the inside, the MPV gets the same dashboard layout as the Ertiga, except for badging. The seating layout too is the same, with a similar colour scheme.
