Tripura to host month-long Unity Promo Fest ’25 to promote tourism

Agartala: Tripura is set to host the Unity Promo Fest 2025, an exciting initiative aimed at boosting tourism worldwide, just like last year. This vibrant festival will showcase cultural programmes and exhibitions that celebrate the rich heritage of the state.The tourism department has announced the plans for Unity Promo Fest 2025, designed to enhance tourism while strengthening community bonds. Scheduled from Nov 8 to Dec 12, this year’s festival expands its reach to all eight districts for the first time.Tourism minister Sushanta Chowdhury, in a press conference, said last year’s “Promo Fest 2024” served as a valuable test to gauge public interest. Encouraged by the impressive turnout at four key venues — Narikel Kunja, Jampui Hills, Agartala, and Neermahal (water palace) — the department is excited to make this year’s event even bigger.The festivities will kick off with a grand inauguration at Narikel Kunja on Nov 8 and 9, featuring a variety of food stalls, cultural performances, and a fashion show.The grand finale will take place in Agartala on Dec 11 and 12, with playback singer Jubin Nautiyal performing at the closing night.
